Lemon Soup

Zupa Cytrynowa

Ingredients

  • Meat stock
  • ½ cup rice
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup cream

Method

Wash rice in cold water. Cook in double boiler in hot water and butter until very tender. Add cream and mix thoroughly. Add lemon juice and enough meat stock to serve 6 persons. Bring to boiling point and serve immediately. Garnish each plate with a thin slice of lemon.
