Liver Loaf

Pasztet z Wątróbek


  • 1 lb. liver (any kind)
  • ¼ lb. bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped celery
  • Salt and pepper


Cover liver with boiling water and let stand for 10 minutes, then drain and dry. Mince the liver, bacon and onion. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pack into greased loaf pan and bake 1 hour in moderate oven. Excellent for sandwiches and hors d'oeuvres.
