Kidney Stew

Nerki Duszone


  • 3 beef kidneys
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • Pepper and salt


Split the kidneys, remove core, skin and hard membrane. Soak in cold salted water for half hour. Drain and slice thin. Saute in butter and flour for 10 minutes until nicely browned. Add water, onion and seasonings, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
