  • 1 roasting chicken
  • ¾ cup sifted flour
  • 1 egg

Method

Beat egg slightly and add cold water. Cut chicken in pieces. Dip in flour, egg and water, and dip in bread crumbs. Brown in butter. Remove to baking pan, sprinkle with salt and pepper and set in 375° oven. Heat sour cream to liquefy. After half hour of baking, pour a little hot sour cream over each piece. The cream will immediately soak into the chicken. In 15 minutes pour more sour cream and s
