Cabbage in Sour Cream

Kapusta ze Śmietana


  • 1 small tender head cabbage
  • ½ cup butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice


Cut cabbage fine. Saute in butter until tender but not brown. Season. Mix egg, cream, sugar and lemon juice. Pour over the cooked cabbage, toss lightly and heat thoroughly but do not boil.
