Peel cucumbers and cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out seed section carefully. Scald with boiling water and drain. Fry onion with butter, add mushrooms. Add chopped meat, 1 beaten egg and seasoning. Fill cucumber shells and tie halves together with thread. Simmer in water or meat stock until tender. Drain. Dip in slightly beaten egg, the crumbs and fry in butter until brown.
