Green Peas in Pod

Groszek w Strączkach


  • 1 lb. very young green peas in pod
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter


Wash peas and trim ends. Barely cover with water and cook for 10 minutes. Add salt and sugar and continue cooking until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes more. Melt butter and pour over peas.
