• 4 egg yolks
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 egg whites


Beat egg yolks, sugar and butter together until thick and creamy. Sift flour and salt and add to first mixture, alternating with additions of milk. Beat until smooth. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Fry very thin cakes on hot well-greased griddle.
