Citrus Fruits


  • 4 oranges
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 ½ cups sugar


Remove seeds from fruit and grate the whole fruit. Bring sugar and water to boiling point. Add the grated fruit and cook carefully until it becomes thick. Remove from fire, stir until cool. Cover the pastry baked for 30 minutes in 350° oven. Set in cold place to cool.
