Chocolate Torte

Tort Czekoladowy


  • 30 eggs, separated
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 lb. baking chocolate
  • ¼ cup rye bread crumbs
  • 2 lbs. sugar
  • ¼ cup potato flour


Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon-colored. Add melted chocolate, sugar and vanilla, beat well. Sift bread crumbs fine and add. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into mixture. Blend in potato flour. Butter and dust pan with bread crumbs and pour in mixture. Bake in 325° oven for one hour.
