Neapolitan Cakes

Ciastka Neapolitańskie

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups butter
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • Rind of one lemon, grated
  • 4 hard cooked eggs
  • 1 cup almonds, finely crushed

Method

Cream butter and sugar, add uncooked eggs. Rub cooked eggs through sieve and add. Blend in flour, add lemon rind and almonds. Chill for one hour. Roll out and cut into desired shapes. Bake in 375° oven for 12 minutes.
