Blueberry-Beet Patés de Fruit

Surprisingly well balanced, this whimsical flavor combination is far more complex than your typical drugstore candy. Bright citrus notes beautifully accent the earthier flavor of beet, both of which sing backup to the sweet, fruity blueberries. Crunchy on the outside (thanks to a coating of granulated sugar) but still toothsome and chewy on the inside, the multitude of contrasts found in such a small bite-sized confection are positively addictive.
