All the excitement of a Chinese takeaway in hardly any more time than it takes to place your order. This recipe couldn’t be simpler – you just heat up some mock duck and serve it with the pancakes and accompaniments – but it really packs a punch in the flavour stakes and is great for sharing with friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 300 g/11 oz vegan shredded hoisin ‘duck’

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the shredded ‘duck’ and cook for about 6 minutes or as per the packet instructions. Transfer to a serving dish.

  2. Heat the Chinese pancakes in the microwave for about 30 seconds or as per packet i
