Crisp on the outside, soft in the middle, and flavoured with warming spices, French toast is an irresistible choice for a quick snack, breakfast or brunch. Serve it with some fresh fruit and a drizzle of maple syrup for a decadent treat, or even with some vegan ‘bacon’ if you want to go Canadian-style.

  • 120 ml/4 fl oz/½ pint vegan milk
