These crispy cauliflower bites make a great alternative to carb- and fat-loaded chips, and taste just as good hot or cold. Here, they are served with a simple yogurt dip, but you could also serve them with hummus, a quick tomato relish or just some tomato ketchup.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp za’atar spice mix
  • 2 garlic cl

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan, add the za’atar spice mix and garlic and fry over a low heat for 1 minute to release the flavour of the spice mix.
  2. Add the cauliflower and increase the heat to medium, then stir-fry for 3–4 minutes, until the cauliflower is just beginning to brown around the edges and is hot but still crisp.
