Power balls are really easy to make, taste delicious and are packed with healthy ingredients. Make up a batch and store them in the fridge, then you can just take out as many as you need, when you need them, put them into a smaller container and use them as a portable healthy snack. These ones taste like chocolate brownies!

Ingredients

  • 100 g/ oz/ cup roasted hazelnuts

Method

  1. Put the toasted hazelnuts and oats in a food processor and blitz until finely chopped. Add the dates, cocoa powder, flaxseeds, protein powder, oil and milk. Blitz until finely chopped and the mixture is beginning to clump together.
  2. Squeeze the mixture into a ball, take it out of the processor and cut it into 20 pieces. Roll each piece in the palm of your hands
