Chocolate Maple Cupcakes

Maple syrup really lifts the chocolate buttercream for these tasty little cakes. When baking any chocolate cake, it’s really important to keep an eye on them because it’s harder to see from their colour when they are done, and also because cocoa powder can make them a bit dry if they are over-baked. Start testing after 20 minutes and whip them out as soon as the skewer comes out clean.
