Tender baby onions and potatoes bake together in another dish that complements meat, whether roasted pork, lamb, beef, chicken, or turkey. Tuck it into the oven while the meat cooks, then raise the heat to brown the vegetables as the roast “settles” for carving. Choose onions about an inch in diameter, whichever name they go by—pearl, mini-, boiler, baby. Purple or golden onions brighten the look.
