  • About

This is everywhere in Venice, featuring many different seafoods… sometimes with the tiny whole baby squid much appreciated by the Venetians. Eel is also appreciated, or you could use any fresh fish you like; sometimes vegetable sticks are on the platter, too. This is a combination I liked. Generally, the amounts for a fritto in Venice tend to be rather generous, but you can judge for yourself. I prefer to eat this for lunch rather than dinner & just have a salad on the table as well.
