Ingredients

  • Fresh cilantro, ¼ cup (⅓ oz/10 g) minced
  • Fresh lime juice, 2 tablespoons
  • Asian chile paste such as sambal oelek or Sriracha, 1 teaspoon
  • Kosher salt, ¼ teaspoon
  • Ripe avocados, 2, peeled and cut into ½–¾-inch (12 mm–2 cm) pieces

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the cilantro, lime juice, chile paste, and salt and crush together with a fork. Add the avocados and mix in, crushing slightly. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve right away.
