  • About

This is a very quick and easy dessert to make. It’s a great recipe for kids because it is sweet but packed with nutrients and a much healthier alternative to sugary, dairy-filled ice creams. But don’t be fooled, the kids won’t be the only ones who love it; the adults will be fighting over a scoop too!

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas, frozen and peeled
  • cups frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)

Method

Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until well combined and smooth. Pour the mixture into an ice-cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. If you don’t have an ice-cream maker, you can pour the mixture into a freezer proof container and freeze for at least 3 hours. Mix it every 40 minutes to break up any ice crystals that may form. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes bef
