Ingredients

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 250 ml (8 fl oz) bottled carbonated
  • water

Method

Put the egg into the bowl and add about three-quarters of the water. Sift the flour and soda on top and whisk in. The consistency should just coat the back of a wooden spoon. Add more water if it is too thick. Use immediately.

Fish

Use any filleted white fish, cut into small pieces, or prawns or scallops.
