  • About
Last, but certainly not least, we come to cooling racks. I cannot tell you how disappointed you will be if you spend all those hours baking your first loaf of bread but don’t cool it properly. You’ll cut into it, hoping to experience nirvana, but instead, you’ll find a gluey inside that just doesn’t rise to your level of expectations in the taste category. If you don’t believe me, cut into your next loaf right out of the oven and then cut into in several hours later, and you’ll understand what I’m saying. The flavor that comes through once bread has been properly cooled speaks for itself.
