Most commonly, red chilli sauce is used as a dipping sauce for fried food. Technically sriracha is a red chilli sauce, but it is spicier than its Chinese and Malaysian cousins. The latter tend to be much sweeter, have more ingredients like ginger and aren’t hot at all.
