  • About
This multipurpose tool has an important place in baking. It can grind nuts to a perfect fine texture, and it can cut butter into scone dough or a pie crust in no time. Avoid the food processor for cakes and muffins, as the fast blade action may overwork the dough, and if using it for cheesecake, be sure to scrape the bowl right to the very bottom to avoid lumps. It’s best to use only the pulse feature when baking. The friction of the blade can heat up butter and over process, which is less likely to happen if you are simply pulsing the blade.
