How to Crimp

  1. Start by folding the edge under all the way around the crust to create a lip.

  2. To do a classic crimp, push your pointer finger into the lip on one side of the crust, while pushing your pointer finger and thumb in on the other side of the crust to create a scalloped look. Continue doing this all the way around the crust.

  3. Alternatively, you can press the tines of a fork, or the rounded tip of a spoon, into the crust all the way around to create a different decorative look.
