Garlic Scapes

Are the tender young flower stalks from the plant. We cut them off to promote larger bulb growth. Scapes have a wonderful onion and garlic flavour and the texture of a very young spring onion (scallion). If they aren’t available where you live, use garlic chives for a similar flavour.
