  • About
The hospitable and open nature is demonstrated in the island home when visiting, either as a friend or complete stranger. Having been given a seat, (usually the best beside the fire) a tray is prepared for one’s sole use. Hot tea, fresh scone and cheese, biscuits or such like. With the tea and food, a dram for a man, sweet sherry for the lady. “Just a little drop to warm the mouth.”
