These chewy chocolate-coated caramel bars (illustrated opposite, on the left) can be found in specialty stores.
In the kitchen, if you can stop yourself from eating them, you can twist the whole bar or cut bits off to use as unusual cake decorations, or melt a bar and stir into sauces.
