A magnificent English product that is thick, gooey, and black with a well-developed taste of licorice.
Really! It’s also delicious stirred into yogurt or with vanilla ice cream. It’s very good in pastries or solid English puddings, but if you can’t track it down in specialty stores, dark molasses poured over vanilla ice cream is pretty darn good as well.
