  • About

Scott started his career in the software industry, working for Microsoft and IBM. During that time, his passion for food and technology led him to create SeattleFoodGeek.com, a blog on which he explores at-home adaptations of Modernist cooking techniques using inexpensive, often improvised equipment. Scott was also the co-founder of Sansaire, a record-setting sous-vide circulator funded through Kickstarter. In 2012, Forbes included Scott in their honorable “30 Under 30” list in the Food & Wine category. Now Scott is the Technical Director of Modernist Cuisine, and in his spare time, consults with companies in the food technology sector.
