  • About

Paper-thin filo is perfect for wrapping around fillings, sweet or savoury. As with layering, keep filo covered with a damp cloth to prevent it drying out. Brush with melted butter after shaping and bake at 180Β°C, about 30 minutes.

Cigar
Brush an 8-cm wide strip of filo with melted butter. Put 1 tsp filling in centre of one end. Fold over edges of the strip lengthwise to neaten. Roll up into a cigar.
Triangle
Brush an 8-cm wide strip of filo with melted butter. Put 1 tsp filling in one corner of one end. Bring other corner diagonally over filling to make a triangle. Repeat folding to other end of strip.
