These ruffled biscuits are made from the same stencil paste as tuiles, but they are shaped to make containers - for filling with fruits and ice creams.

Immediately after baking, press each shape into a small fluted mould then, while the shape is still warm, gently press a smaller mould inside the first to form a tulip-shaped container. Carefully remove the moulds and place the tulipe on a wire rack until cold and firm.
