  • About
For the true lover of asparagus, there is a purpose-built asparagus steamer, available in specialist cookware shops. This steamer is a tall slender pot that cooks the asparagus without damaging the fragile tips. The asparagus stands upright in the steamer basket (pictured), which is then lowered into boiling water in the pot. The spears cook in water while the tips cook in steam.
