  • About
This variety of melon has a lovely musky smell when ripe. The skin has an irregular netted pattern, with either bright orange or pale green flesh. Galia, a variety of musk melon, is a spherical melon with a netted pattern on its skin. As it ripens, its skin turns from dark green to golden. These melons are also known as rockmelons, netted melons or commercially as canteloupe in America.
