How to Mince Shallots

  • About
  1. Cut the peeled shallot in half through the stem end.

  2. Slice the shallot with the knife perpendicular to the base as thinly as you can, keeping the slices attached at the root end.

  3. Make horizontal slices into the onion almost to the root end.

  4. Slice across the slices.
