  • About
Hot drinks are a traditional start to our day.
Tea might mean any of several infusions: there is ‘bush tea’ (any infusion of made with boiling water and medicinal herbs), ‘green tea’ (made with proper tea leaves), ‘cocoa tea’ (hot chocolate) and ‘coffee tea’ (coffee). You might need to be specific.
Coffee has been grown commercially in the Caribbean since the eighteenth century, starting in Martinique. The most popular coffee producers are Jamaica, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Though coffee is grown elsewhere, these are the best quality. Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee ™ is recognized as one of the finest in the world and much of the crop is now sold at a premium price, in Japan.
