cannelloni a large and eminently stuffable form of pasta, formed by wrapping a sheet round itself in the shape of a tube. Cannellini are similar but smaller.
Fillings may include meat, sometimes seafood, often cheese or vegetables, usually incorporating a sauce or with a sauce poured over, or both.
