Pandalus borealis, northern or deep-water prawn, red when alive—but few people see it thus because it belongs to deep waters and is usually cooked at sea. Range: from Greenland down to Britain in the east and Martha’s Vineyard in the west. Fished extensively in Norwegian waters.
