wahoo Acanthocybium solandri, one of the finest game fishes in the world. It has an extensive range in the Indo-Pacific and is also found in the Caribbean region. A fast-moving predator, usually found singly or in small groups in open water, it is nowhere common and has little commercial importance, although good to eat. Its maximum length is 2 m (80") and the record weight 63 kg (139 lb).
