  • About

Tomatillo - means ‘little tomato’. Also known as husk tomato due to the fact that it has a papery layer on the outside. It’s a member of the physalis family, is native to northern South America and was eaten by the Aztecs. It has a fresh, tart flavour which mellows a little when cooked.
