Sashimi consists of meticulously fabricated raw fish and other types of seafood, served simply and with few embellishments. The traditional accompaniments for sashimi are limited to light soy sauce, prepared wasabi (green horseradish), shredded daikon (white radish), and sometimes a slice of lemon.
