  1. After creaming the butter with herbs, garlic, and/or cheese, spread it on a sheet of plastic wrap, as seen here, or on parchment paper.

  2. Roll up the flavored butter in the plastic wrap, making a compact cylinder.

  3. Twist the ends of the plastic wrap to seal the butter. Refrigerate until firm. You can also freeze the flavored butter for up to 3 months.
