  • About
Antioxidants protect against and repair daily damage to our cells and tissues. They have also been linked to heart health and cancer prevention. Some come in the form of vitamins, such as vitamins C and E. Others are compounds found in plant foods such as phytonutrients like lycopene and beta-carotone, or polyphenols such as ellagic acid. The best sources of antioxidants are colorful fruits, vegetables, nuts, and whole grains.
