Prepare your favorite hot breakfast cereal, such as Apple-Cinnamon Oatmeal or Whole-Wheat Farina. Meanwhile, fill an insulated beverage container with hot water to warm it. When the cereal is ready, pour out the water and add the cereal to the container. Add any desired toppings, like nonfat or low-fat milk, dark agave nectar or maple syrup, ground cinnamon, chopped walnuts, or fresh or dried fruit.
