Chilli powder

Made from ground dried long red chillies. Both roasted and unroasted chilli powders are available, so be careful to buy the right one. Unroasted chilli powder is bright red in colour, whereas roasted chilli powder is dark browny red and adds a slightly different flavour and colour to dishes.
