  • About
Imports. Sold in Chinese stores. Dense tapering cylinders, the young shoots of bamboo with a delectable tight texture and mild fresh flavour. Used chopped or in slivers to add a special waxy crunch to many Chinese preparations. Also available tinned, which must be rinsed well and even then does not lose a boiled metallic taste.
