  • About
Wasabi comes from the same plant family as horseradish and is similar in appearance. However, the wasabi stem colour is a lighter green. It has a strong, pungent mustardy flavour and is traditionally used as a condiment, especially with sushi. The fresh stem is hard to get outside Japan. However, it is widely available as a paste or in the powdered form. I would recommend using the paste for the best flavour. It keeps well in the fridge once it has been opened.
