  • About
Literally meaning infused (steeped) tea, this is the middle-range leaf tea made from good, young leaves. If you visit a Japanese household, this is the tea you will be served, along with wagashi. Each year, shincha (new tea) comes out in the summer. Brew this tea in the same way as gyokuro but in hotter water.
