  • About
A heavy, sweet Japanese rice wine with a light syrup texture. It is used only in cooking, to add a mild sweetness to sauces or foods. It is especially delicious with grilled foods as once the alcohol is burned off, only the sweet essence of the Mirin remains. There is no substitute for this unique item. It can be found in many Chinese or Asian supermarkets or Japanese speciality food shops. One bottle will last quite a long time and is well worth the search.
